
Ingredients:
1 cup of cold tea
2 cups of self-raising flour
2 cups of mixed fruit
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
Method:
1. Soak the fruit and sugar in the tea overnight.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and beat well.
3. Put in a greased 2lb loaf tin.
4. Bake in a moderate oven at 200C (375F/Gas Mark 4) for 1 ½ hours.
